Bathgate Bridge Club has been in continuous existence since it was founded in 1950, and is affiliated to the Scottish Bridge Union, the game’s controlling body in Scotland.

Inside the Club, we run two competitions for  Pairs - Aggregate and Match Pointed, a Teams of Four  and a Singles competition. The  Match Pointed Competition is also  run as a handicapped competition.

Outside of the Club’s own competitions, we have two teams playing in the local Leagues, and we take part in the national Bobby Allan and Charity Shield competitions.

Membership is open to everyone with an interest in Bridge, and tuition can be arranged for beginners. Due to an increase in the fees charged for the Hall, the membership subscription has been increased to £ 10.00, and a charge of £ 2.00 is made each night you play. There is also the SBU affiliation fee of £ 5.00 to be paid, but this is only payable once. If you are a member of more than one Club, you can choose which Club you pay it at.
